Food Intolerance Test

ViTS&DRiPS offers a Premium Food Intolerance test. With a quick fingerprick, we can check the blood sample for food intolerance in over 200 different foods and drinks. Within 2 weeks, you will be provided with clear results and support material to help you optimise your diet.

The test is recommended for people who experience bloating, wind, abdominal pain, lethargy and other issues that may be caused by certain foods.

What will the test find out?

The Premium Food Intolerance test is our most comprehensive food and drink test. The test analyses your IgG antibody reactions to over 200 food and drink ingredients. The results of this test will highlight the individual food triggers and help you formulate a new diet eliminating those trigger foods.

How does the test work?

The test is simple to take and can be done quickly; all we need is small blood sample, which is obtained with a simple prick of the finger. We will then analyse IgG antibody reactions in the blood, when it is exposed to over 200 food and drink ingredients.

How accurate are the results?

The experienced and qualified team at YorkTest who created the test, led by Scientific Director Dr Gill Hart, are proud of their high level of reproducibility which currently stands at >98%. This means that the results of two tests analysed at the same time with the same blood sample will match >98% of the time.
