with Semaglutide/Tirzepatide
a weekly self-administered subcutaneous injection
Losing weight can be surprisingly difficult, even when you’ve been working hard to make a change. While there is the basic principle that we need to consume fewer calories than we burn, the reality is that weight loss can be more complicated.
Genetics, hormones, lifestyle, sleep, health and emotions can all play their part. There is so much conflicting advice in the public domain that it can be overwhelming.
ViTS&DRiPS aim to take you from overwhelmed to in control of your weight loss journey.

We will then contact you to advise you of the next steps.
How does it work?
Weight loss injections reduce your hunger and make you feel full and satisfied for longer.
The first step is to complete the short enquiry form (see above). We will then contact you to book a face-to-face consultation with one of our doctors to discuss your suitability for weight loss injections.
You will administer the weight loss injections at home using a special pre-filled prescription pen. The doctor will teach you how to do this.
You will need to attend the clinic every four weeks for the doctor to renew your prescription.
Weight Loss FAQs
How long does the treatment take?
Treatment can usually be continued until you reach your target weight.
Even a 5% weight loss can lower your risk of developing diabetes, heart disease or cancer. It can also lower your blood pressure and cholesterol and improve any osteoarthritic pain or obstructive sleep apnoea.
How many appointments will I need?
The number of appointments you need, as well as the frequency and dose of any medication, will depend on your individual case. Our doctor will be able to give you a much clearer idea of what to expect when you’ve had your consultation.
Are weight loss injections safe?
Weight loss injections are deemed safe for suitable candidates according to clinical data. Risks and side-effects are generally minimal but it’s always important to be fully informed; we will discuss these with you before you make any decisions.
It’s common to experience nausea and/or an upset stomach when you first begin the course of treatment. Most people find the symptoms settle within a few weeks. These side effects can be caused by eating too much or the wrong types of foods, so we may advise you to try some further dietary changes to manage these symptoms.
The following patients should not take the weight loss injections:
Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma
Personal history of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN2)
Hypersensitivity to the product components
Pregnancy
Your suitability for treatment will be assessed following a consultation with one of our doctors.
